How to get to The Sukosol Hotel Bangkok

The designated venue (The Sukosol Hotel) is about 45 minutes away from Suvarnabhumi Airport.  All participants are requested to arrange transportation to and from the Sukosol Hotel Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi Airport or Donmuang Airport.

From Suvarnabhumi Airport, the following public transports are available:

1. Public Taxi Service

You can take the Public Taxi Service on Level 1 (Ground Level), near entrances 3, 4, 7, and 8. You must contact the Taxi counter and obtain a ticket from a taxi queue machine, which is outside the building. The fare depends on the traffic.  There is an addition of a 50 Baht airport surcharge, and expressway fees is not included.  The total fare is expected to be no more than 500 Baht.

2. Airport Railway Link

After your arrival at the airport, you can take the City Line (Airport Railway Link) which is located on the B floor, from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phayathai station (45 Baht). Transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phayathai Station is approximately 30 minutes and The Sukosol Hotel is within a walking distance of the station. For timetable and fare calculation, please visit http://www.srtet.co.th/index.php/en

Bangkok Airport Rail Link is a commuter rail line connecting Suvarnabhumi Airport to Phaya Thai (BTS) station. The Airport Rail link operates daily from 06:00 to 24:00 hrs, with commuter City Line trains departing every 10 minutes during peak hours (06:00-09:00 and 16:00-20:00) and 15 minutes off-peak and weekends.

3. Airport Limousine 

You can get a limousine contact at the “Limousine Service Counter” on the Arrivals Level (2nd floor). The limousine pick-up area is at the Arrivals Level (inner curb).  However, the fare would be more than 1,000 Baht depending on the traffic.

From Donmuang Airport, the following public transports are available:

 

4. Public Taxi Service

Public taxi stand is located on Ground Floor. There is a waiting area for taxis with several queues, it is located at Gate 8 of Terminal 1. There are no automatic machines as in Suvarnabhumi Airport but counters with staff are at the end of each line.

The staff will ask you where you want to go and give you a customer ticket and then a driver will take you to his taxi.  The fare depends on the traffic.  There is an addition of a 50 Baht airport surcharge, and expressway fees is not included.
