The SEAMEO RIHED Governing Board Meeting
The policy-making body of the Centre is the SEAMEO RIHED Governing Board, which is composed of one representative of each SEAMEO Member Country nominated by their National Minister of Education and appointed by the SEAMEO Council. The SEAMEO RIHED Centre Director and the Director of the SEAMEO Secretariat serve as ex-officio Members of the Governing Board. The annual Governing Board Meeting (GBM), which brings together the 11 Governing Board Members, is held annually and continues to serve as an important platform for operational matters of the Centre to be acknowledged as well as proposed initiatives to be discussed and endorsed, helping to shape SEAMEO RIHED’s future activities. Regional stakeholders are also invited to discuss important challenges and confirm commitments towards collectively advancing the sustainable development of the region.
