Application and Hiring process

The recruitment process at SEAMEO RIHED for Programme and Administrative staff is as follows:

  • Applying for a job

For Programme assignments, you normally have a one (1) month period to apply with the requested documentation once a job is advertised online. For Administrative assignments, you normally have a similar period of time to apply.

  • Screening

After the closing date, SEAMEO RIHED will shortlist candidates on the basis of their qualifications, experience and skills (including language), as well as other relevant knowledge and abilities required for the particular assignment.

  • Interviews

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (phone interviews may be conducted beforehand to make a preliminary assessment). Reference checks may also be made relating to your previous professional experience.

  • Evaluation

SEAMEO RIHED will make the final evaluation on whether your profile matches the assignment.

  • Decision

An offer of appointment will be made to the successful candidate.
