Strengthening Leadership with Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity (GEDI) in Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia (Phase II End-Phase Activities)

 
SEAMEO RIHED, in partnership with the British Council, is pleased to launch a call for a consultant to support the end-phase activities of Phase II of the Strengthening Leadership with Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusivity (GEDI) in Higher Education Institutions in Southeast Asia Project.

 This regional initiative engages universities and policymakers across 11 Southeast Asian countries and the UK higher education institutions to advance gender equity, diversity and inclusivity within higher education systems. As Phase II progresses, the Project seeks to consolidate key evidence and insights to inform future regional directions.

The selected consultant will be responsible for:

  • Conducting a regional baseline study on gender equity, diversity and inclusivity in Southeast Asian higher education
  • Undertaking a comparative analysis of selected research projects addressing GEDI in higher education
  • Developing a contextualised glossary of key GEDI concepts for the Southeast Asian higher education sector

£29,000

We welcome applications from individuals or teams with strong expertise in GEDI-related research, cross-country comparative analysis, and higher education policy.
