First Hainan International Forum on Higher Education Innovation and Development

On December 4, 2023, Asst. Prof. Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Centre Director of SEAMEO RIHED, was invited to attend and serve as one of the distinguished panelists at the First Hainan International Forum on Higher Education Innovation and Development. The event was organized by Geely Talent Development Group and Hainan Luo Bi Feng Education Development Co. Ltd, and hosted by the University of Sanya in Sanya, Hainan, China.

Themed "Journeying the Wind - Dialogue on New Possibilities in Education," the forum provided a prestigious platform for experts and scholars in higher education, along with leading enterprises, to engage in constructive dialogues on the global transformation of higher education. The primary focus was to promote international exchanges, foster trans-boundary integration between education and industry, and encourage innovation within higher education.

Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont's participation underscored the importance of closer partnerships among stakeholders to integrate universities, communities, research institutions, and industries within the context of each country.
