The OBHE Global Forum 2016

On 8-11 November 2016, SEAMEO RIHED has the honour to participate in the OBHE Global Forum 2016, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, organised by the Observatory on Borderless Higher Education. Over 100 participants from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia; leading higher education institutions in transnational education from North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia; international organizations and many more attended the Forum to share knowledge and perspectives on the latest developments in Transnational Education.

On behalf of Dr. Chantavit Sujatanond, Centre Director of SEAMEO RIHED, Ms. Phunyanuch (Aom) Pattanotai, Senior Programme Officer, SEAMEO RIHED, presented SEAMEO RIHED’s experiences in promoting student mobility at the panel session on “TNE Mobility: Raising the Bar”.

The Forum provided an important platform for networking and discussions on TNE, TNE’s impact, quality assurance, and TNE mobility, are relevant to SEAMEO RIHED’s work in fostering synergies in higher education in the region.
